The mission and goals of VISWASS Nursing College are Education, Research and Service. B. Sc. Nursing is a four-year degree course, which includes a core of knowledge in the humanities and the behavioral, physical, and biological sciences, as well as theory and practice of professional nursing. The Bachelor degree in nursing is awarded by the Utkal University, Orissa. The intake capacity of students is 50 per annum. Candidates within the

age group of 18-28 years can apply for admission. They must have passed 10 +2 Sc or equivalent examinations with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as optional subjects and secured 50% marks in aggregate (in case of General Caste candidates) and 45% marks (in case of SC/ST candidates).
