VISWASS seeks to foster education, research, consultation, leadership, management and service to the profession and to the community. GNM is a three and half years diploma course in nursing and Orissa Nursing Council (ONC) awards the diploma. The intake of student is 40 per annum. Candidates within the age group of 18-35 years having passed 10 + 2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects can apply. No minimum percentage of marks required.
